Virgos Like Obama, Pisces Support Clinton

Other surveyed factors showed similarly unusual patterns among the Democratic candidates’ supporters. Barack Obama has the most numerous group of single supporters. On the other hand, married couples and those in a relationship seem to prefer John Edwards and Hillary Clinton, according to the survey.

When it comes to race, twenty-four percent of Hillary Clinton`s online supporters are Asian, the largest popularity percentage registered among Asian people for a Democratic candidate. Black, Middle Eastern, and white Americans prefer Edwards. Obama has more Hispanic supporters than the other Democratic front runners.

When it comes to religion, Edwards seems to be the candidate of choice among those who consider themselves rather religious. The South Carolina candidate has more religious supporters in his groups of online friends than the other two Democratic front runners. By contrast, Hillary Clinton seems to be very popular among declared Agnostics and Atheists.

Among those who described their religious beliefs, Catholics seem to prefer Edwards as their top candidate, followed by Obama and Clinton. However, Obama seems to be the favorite among Evangelic Christians, who prefer him over Edwards.

Those who don`t have children tend to be supporters of Hillary Clinton, while John Edwards registered the highest percentage of supporters among those with children.

When it comes to the education of their supporters, Hillary Clinton seems to garner the most support from educated voters. She is, followed by John Edwards and Barack Obama.

Interestingly, the zodiac sign may also play a role in voters’ preferences. Clinton supporters tend to be Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Cancer. Obama counts on those who are a Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, or Scorpio to support him. The largest group of Edwards` supporters are Aries and Sagittarius.
